Rabbi Ronen Neuwirth
Rabbi Ronen Neuwirth served for 8 years as the Rabbi of the Ohel Ari Congregation in Ra’anana and for 7 years in other communities in Petach Tikva, Tel Aviv and Caesarea. He was the founder and the first executive director of Beit Hillel, a spiritual leadership organization that strives to magnify the voice of centrist orthodoxy in Israel and to build bridges between the religious and secular sectors. He served as overseas department director of the Tzohar Rabbinical Organization, and as director of its training program for communal rabbis.
Rabbi Neuwirth served as the Rabbi of Bnei Akiva of the U.S. and Canada. For years, Rabbi Neuwirth combined his work as a rabbi and teacher with working as Chief Technology Officer for a hi-tech company. He served as a captain in the Israeli Navy Special Forces and taught in the Petach Tikva Hesder Yeshiva and at Midreshet Orot Elkana and Midreshet Aviv in Tel Aviv.
Rabbi Neuwirth holds Semicha from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel and a BSc in Computer Science from Bar Ilan University. He is about to publish his second book “The Narrow Halakhic Bridge: A Vision of Jewish Law in the Post-Modern Age. He is currently studying for his MA in Jewish Studies at Touro College in New York.
Yossi Fachler
Yossi Fachler is a UK born natural people’s man. He graduated from College in Jerusalem and has been living in London since 1991 with his wife Sarah, and two children where he became youth Minister in two central London Synagogues. Since then, Yossi’s services are used on a bi-monthly basis by the United Synagogue Community Division and the Office Of The Chief Rabbi to take the Shabbat Services around the UK communities, giving the sermons, blending in his famous sense of humor and topped off with his beautiful davening voice.
Since then, he has subsequently presided over the high holidays all over the world, including three years at the Saatchi Synagogue, St John’s Wood, South Hampstead, North Brook Illinois, St Albans, Glasgow, Birmingham, Radlett, Cardiff and Hendon – where he takes the services in davening and sermons. In 2005, and again in 2015, Yossi successfully promoted the ’60 days for 60 years’ and ’70 days for 70 years’ projects to over 250,000 members of the Jewish community around the world. In his spare time, Yossi gives evening lectures around the UK, to business people, lay people and high school students alike.
Cheryl Stiebel
Cheryl Stiebel made Aliyah to Jerusalem from the land of “OZ” Kansas in 2011. An avid and worldwide traveler, Cheryl began to work in hospitality over 18 years ago as a Guest Relations Liaison for Pesach programs and Kosher cruising. When not exploring the world, she works as a Board Certified Lactation Consultant with over 35 years’ experience in Pediatric, Obstetric and general hospital settings. Cheryl is married to Dr.Victor Stiebel and has five married children and eight grandchildren. She is dedicated to making sure each guest has the perfect Pesach vacation.
