Shining the Spotlight on Rabbi David Marcus – A Rabbi and a Scholar

Rabbi David Marcus is a Musmach of Yeshiva University who has earned various graduate degrees in the fields of education and psychology. He is the Senior Development Officer of One Israel Fund. Rabbi Marcus has spearheaded development for Efrat Medical Center and is currently working to develop similar medical centers in the Shomron region as well as the Binyamin region. He also serves as the President and Chairman of The RDM Group (Research, Development, and Management).

Rabbi David Marcus is the former Director of Development Associates Group (DAG) of Israel, the former Director of Development of the Ir David Foundation (The City of David), and the former Director of the Israel Council of Young Israel. He has served as rabbi of the Young Israel of Lawrenceville in New Jersey.

Perhaps his most critical role as a spiritual leader, though, has been that of a teacher. For the past 30 years, he has served as a teacher in formal and informal settings, shaping the lives of hundreds of students in the process. He also contributes to several Torah publications and posts a weekly Torah column online.

Rabbi David Marcus is married with five sons and resides in Efrat, Israel, though his work brings him to the U.S. on a regular basis.

For the past 25 years, Rabbi David Marcus has served as a resident scholar at various Leisure Time Tours  Pesach programs. Year after year, he offers lectures, spiritual guidance, and more to those enjoying Passover travel to exciting locations.
