The 5 star Augustus Hotel is the largest and most elegant of the hotels in beautiful Forte Dei Marmi along the upscale section of the Italian Riviera. Spread out over a large tree-laden estate, this large private beach-front facility contains the finest sand which gently flows into the blue Mediterranean Sea . A new addition to our program is the 4 Star Hotel Hermitage, a beautiful sister-property of the Augustus Hotel. This hotel boasts a magnificent 15,000 square meter park and children’s playground and a lovely heated swimming pool.
The chefs and service-oriented banquet staff of each hotel will be working in concert with the professional kosher chefs of Minkowitz Caterers of Milan. They will create a fantastic culinary experience drawing the best of Italian, continental and traditional Jewish fare. Their incomparable Passover culinary delicacies will be under the Kashruth Supervision of Rabbi G.M. Garelik of Milan . Your hosts will, once again, be the Minkowitz family.
Traditional Orthodox services along with thought-provoking lectures and discussions, children’s programs, plus exciting optional sightseeing tours will round out a truly unique Pesach experience.
Nearby to both hotels is a host of sporting opportunities ranging from golf to boating, fishing, and horseback riding. The hundreds of chic shops and very Italian boutiques in Forte Dei Marmi are a few minutes walk (or relaxing bicycle ride) from the hotels. With Pisa and the medieval walled city of Lucca but a half hour away and the cultural and historical center of Florence only 1 hour away, the sightseeing and shopping possibilities are endless in this breathtaking region of Tuscany . ( Venice and Milan are each a 2½ hour drive.)
